Silicone Coated Fiberglass cloth Introductions

 

This Suntex Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is fiberglass fabric coated with one side or both sides specially bonded silicone rubber. Suntex professional coating technology and machines can make silicone cloth with beautiful, uniform and wear-resistant surface. The silicone coating provides flat surface, better abrasion resistance, stronger strength, colorful colors for fiberglass cloth. The base fiberglass fabric withstand max temperature to 1022°F/550°C, the silicone coating withstand max temperature to 536°F/280°C. The silicone coating also provides water and oil resistance, good flexibility, tear resistance, low smoke and flame retardant, etc. Because the surface is coated with silicone coating, it can reduce the itching of glass fiber cloth to human skin.

 

Suntex silicone coated fiberglass cloth is very dry after being machine-dried. So it is often used in making welding blanket and curtains, insulating blankets and other fireproof parts. This silicone coated fiberglass is easily to fabrication, sewn, drape and handle. This cloth is very suitable for making lightduty welding blankets and curtains. According to the size of operation area, the welding blankets can be hung like curtain to isolate welding area and prevent sparks and welding slag from falling on the ground or other non-welding work areas. It can effectively prevent high temperature spark and slag caused by welding from hurting people or property in nearby area.
